A single-family house of compact rectangular massing, its brick facade cut by a horizontal band of light stone. That single move splits the building into two legible parts and gives it scale despite very restrained detailing.

The brickwork is left raw and unpainted, so the facade ages with its surroundings instead of demanding upkeep. Openings follow what happens inside rather than a rhythm imposed from outside, which gives the elevation its irregular but ordered arrangement.
